If you loved Steve Jobs’s cool ideas, you will love Ron Paul’s. The ideas of freedom are cool and, when implemented, EVERYBODY wins.
As you may remember, many of Steve Jobs’s ideas were not his own inventions; rather, he was the visionary who turned these ideas into reality, which, as it turned out, touched people’s lives and moved society forward. I for one feel lucky to live in this time and witness the amazing change in society because Steve Jobs was here. Not only do Steve Jobs’s customers benefit from his life on earth, but his competitors and their customers also benefit. They benefit because Steve Jobs, as a marketing genius and visionary, created demand for new products that is bigger than Apple alone can satisfy and thus Apple’s competitors, too, can prosper from the market. As a result, consumers have a selection of products for competitive prices. When Steve Jobs won, EVERYBODY won.
Ron Paul’s ideas for freedom are not his inventions; rather, with vision, integrity, tenacity and passion, Ron Paul has championed the cause of freedom and liberty for three decades. Since no one under 110 years old has possibly lived with a government operating within the constitutional bounds, the ideas that Ron Paul represents will revolutionize how people live and move society forward. I feel excited to witness how Ron Paul’s thoughts and principles resonate with people like never before.
Much like Steve Jobs’s success, Ron Paul’s success will benefit EVERYBODY in society. My mind boggles when I consider that, over many generations, how much human energy has been wasted in navigating through convoluted tax code and regulations, how much economic resource has been misused and destroyed due to the government’s actions crippling market mechanism. Furthermore, how many human lives have been lost in unnecessary wars? From a practical standpoint, in addition to making all people—except the political, financial elite and government bureaucrats—poorer, the waste of energy and resource has indeed caused the loss of opportunity for mankind: the opportunity for finding cures for deadly diseases, for developing capability to migrate to another planet—just to name two major areas that affect everyone’s life and lives of their loved ones. A future free society and small government in a very near term mean the financial and political elite and bureaucrats will lose their undeserved interests and privileges. But if we get beyond that extremely near-sighted view, it becomes obvious that the elite cannot cheat out of death with all their wealth and power if they catch an incurable deadly disease, any more than everybody else can. Moreover, without the technological advancement that could have been achieved if the opportunity hadn’t been lost, the political and financial elite themselves and their descendants will be bound to the earth with everyone else when one day human beings want to leave. However, though what has been lost in the past is gone forever, when we are free, we will begin to build a future that everyone, rich and poor, can look forward to.
Ron Paul’s presidency will be the beginning of a new life for everybody—no group will be left behind!
